Ward 1 Orléans - Your Candidate For Ottawa City Council
In addition to English and French, you can read my platform in Chinese and Arabic.
I have lived in Orléans for the better part of the last 25 years. I currently work as an independent community advocate as well as a volunteer coordinator and caregiver at Keshet Kennels Dog Rescue. I'm a proud Orléans Lion and I'm also a board member for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School council and The Queenswood Heights Community Association. I've been a successful business owner and I've been homeless. This gives me the skills to connect with a wide spectrum of people, bring us together and put forth viable solutions. I've spent my entire life working closely with the community as a coach, a social worker and a business owner. There is nothing I want more than all community members to have a sense of belonging. I'm not sure who came up with the term minority because if we all get together we are the majority!
